Senior Center Interior Gets a Refresh

At the Senior Center of West Seattle, we believe should be a vibrant reflection of the community members who make this space their own. As we celebrate a monumental milestone in our history, we continue to work hard to ensure our physical spaces and our programming match the vitality and needs of our community.

For months now, we’ve been hard at work giving our building, the “Jewel of the Junction,” a refresh. Now, as you enter our lobby, you’ll be greeted by bright and modern colors. Our reception space features new flooring and an inviting space to gather. Upstairs, almost every inch has been repainted for a fresh, clean look. Walking through the cafe and into the classrooms, the theme continues. Finally, but perhaps most importantly, our restrooms upstairs have been completely redone to be more accessible and contemporary.

Refreshing the Senior Center would not have been possible without the dedication of S365 Consulting + Design, our board of directors, staff members, volunteers, and donors.

If you have not visited the Senior Center in a while, come by and see us. Join a class, have a cup of coffee in our cafe, or come to an event. And, please continue to make this community your own. Our members are the ones who bring the Senior Center to life.
